Achievement Series Testing:

Here is my information regarding the Achievement Series testing.  I have learned that it is very simple to produce a test that can make dramatic results.  This process was very much worth the time and effort to complete!

My standard is
4.S.1.1: Interpret data from graphical representations and draw conclusions.  I used questions from the Achievement Series test bank to develop an online test to give each student.  The pre-and post-tests were each seven questions in length, as not many more questions specifically related to the standard were found.  The tests each took about five minutes and were not too intimidating.  They enjoyed taking a test online and being able to see how they did when they were finished.

This is my pre-test: Pre-Test

This is my post-test: Post-Test

These are the results:

                        Pre-Test                                                                                    Post-Test

As you can see, my 4th Grade students improved on their graphing standard by 7% from pre-test to post-test.  Using the eMetrics information to determine area of need, Achievement Series testing program to develop and score tests, and 21st Century Skills to address homework, we have seen student achievement increase in a short amount of time.  I am excited to use this program in the future to get the same or better results with a new group of students.
